I went a bit over board designing the art work for Lust Poisons Pride so my manager Jay P Gold said I should print them and have an art showing. Great idea (kinda… I have to do more work) but I didn’t want to just get them printed at Kinko’s I wanted to get my hands in some paint! So, I called on the talents of Master Print Maker and Dope Emcee Yeti One (or as I like to call him Yetti One) to help me finish my Lust Poisons Pride masterpiece.
I started with 5 designs and ended up with a total of 25 pieces, each design printed 5 times. Just a little something extra for those people that really love the album, we will be selling a few and giving away some throughout the month at various events like the Listing Party and Album Release Party.

I’m pretty sure when I came to J.Brookinz with this idea of a song that isn’t anything like what he had been doing he was like, “Grey… WTF are you talking about??? We make hiphop music and that’s doing good right now! Stick to it!” But, instead he said that sounds like a good idea but I don’t know how to make this sound your talking about. After all it was only a concept in my head. So I went to work, I had the melody in my head I just had to reintroduce myself to the production process and Lay You Down Came out well… pre Lay You Down before J. Brookinz tweaked it.
